Did you know that over 90% of your potential patients trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation? Having solid reviews is one of the biggest parts of your marketing strategy that can bring you a lot more patients for your practice!

Have you been shopping on Amazon and seen a few products you were looking for and had to compare the reviews to decide which one is right for you? Or maybe you were going on a vacation and were looking at a few different hotels to choose from and comparing which one to stay at. 

Let’s say you decided to go with one over the other, simply because the winning hotel had the best reviews and it stood out to you. You based it off of everyone’s experiences and how great it was to stay at that hotel! This was a hotel that is a perfect fit for you and capture yourself experiencing the same luxery as well.

This is exactly what patients are going to think every time they search for which orthodontist to go with. They’re going to see what experiences others have encountered and if they would be a good fit to choose you for their treatment. They will hunt down your Google Reviews, check out your Facebook Page reviews, and might even check out if you’ve got any video testimonials featured on your website. 

To get more reviews on Google or on your Facebook Page, you can simply ask your patients directly for a review, send a follow-up email for a review, add a review link on your website to get more reviews, and here’s a bonus… you could even send the patient home with a fancy little business card (or something similar) that allows them to rate their treatment experience. On that card, you would have a custom QR code that links directly to your Google or Facebook reviews for them to fill out after their treatment. They could simply scan the code using the camera on their phone, and Boom! An easy review that boosts your ranking and gives you social proof for other potential patients to check out. Plus it will take you little to no effort.

The last little golden nugget is getting video testimonials from your patients rather than just a text review for Facebook or Google… A video testimonial can be shown all over your social media posts, stories, and a section of your website. This just solidifies that you’re the best orthodontist in your area and have a personal review displaying how happy they were when getting treatment from you! They get to unleash their personality and explain to anyone who sees this video that it’s a no-brainer to work with you.
